A Soft Pull Credit Score Check does not impact your score because YOU are checking your own credit. Compared to a business or product supplier checking your credit because you are shopping for credit; in which case is called a Hard Pull Credit Check and will slightly bring down you score.
Although negligible even if it’s a hard pull. It makes sense to pull your own Soft Pull Check so you can be in control before you start shopping or sourcing new credit facilities!
